America looked over the fiftieth state and the ocean which was floating with many dead bodies of the countries' soldiers. Tears ran down his eyes. It was a really rare sight indeed to see the usually bright and self-centered country cry, but this was too much. In the back round there were fires that were still burning what was left of the planes, both Japanese and American, on land. America knelt down and picked up a badge which had the Japanese flag on it*. Angered, he threw it as far as he could out into the water.
“America...” The nation looked to see Britain.
“Wh-what are you doing here?” America stammered. Why was he here?

UnfairThis story is based partially on what I'm learning in my History class at the moment. When I learned that Italy wasn't given land after being promised, when he fought in WWI, I thought that was very unfair. Done in sympathy of Italy. Inside Takeo's Mind : His Thoughts

Have you ever wondered what Takeo is thinking? Why he is so serious? Here's a peek into his mind! I tried to be as characteristic as possible with Takeo. I feel that Takeo is very misunderstood a lot. Of course I will do the same with the others . Enjoy

The group was sitting in a circle around a fire, telling stories of their days back then. Tank boasted about his skills as usual, Nikolai drank vodka and shared his stories of his wives ( for the millionth time) and Richtofen... well he was being Richtofen. Takeo, however, was thinking over his life. Of course he did this often, but he felt as if he was missing something...

When Takeo was a little boy, he noticed he wasn't like the others. He would spend hours in his room reading , studying, or being outside practicing with his sword on helpless cats' tails, instead of playing with other classmates.

'I guess I had a fun-deprived childhood...' He thought. All because of his parents.

Parents. The word had a bad taste in his mouth.

Sure, he was given a bed , food and clothes to cover him , not to mention fighting lessons. But he never really received love.

Maybe when he did a good job at something or earned good grades, but that was appreciation. And if he didn't... Takeo shuddered. He's glad his family is dead. Good riddance. But...

'I have been miserable so long. I wish I did more as a child...' He thought.

He never had sex.

He never partied like his friends.

He was never really happy, either.

'Nikolai and Tank sure have things to laugh about at the end of the day, even Richtofen.' He sighed.

The only person who at least cared a little about him was Tank. He didn't underestimate his skills or pretend to be polite. Takeo felt warm in his stomach for a second. Then it went away. He wanted more of that warm feeling. He wanted to impress the marine so he can warm feeling back.

Takeo shook head, coming back to reality. If there was one thing he learned from the Army, It was that affection made a person weak. 'Forget it Masaki,' He told himself. 'I am here to survive from zombies , not become interested in some association with another. ' When Takeo looked up, the gang was asleep. Quietly, the warrior crawled onto a couch in one of the rooms and fell asleep, depressed and crying so nobody would hear.
